ZQSOFT was invited to participate in the specialized and innovative forum

In the afternoon of November 28, under the guidance of Dalian Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the special forum on digital transformation of intelligent manufacturing of specialized and new "little giant" enterprises, jointly organized by the Training Center of Dalian University of Technology and Dalian Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Association, was successfully held in China Unicom (Dalian) Industrial Internet Research Institute.

ZQSOFT was invited to participate. During the roundtable discussion of the forum, our chairman, Mr. Shi Weishi, gave an in-depth sharing on the hot topic of "Should Enterprises Buy Standard Software or Choose Customized Development for Digital Transformation?" which has long been a concern in the industry. This forum brings together representatives of specialized and innovative enterprises, industry experts, and leading figures in manufacturing enterprises from across the country, focusing on how enterprises can seize opportunities and accurately plan transformation paths in the wave of intelligent manufacturing.

1. The eternal challenge of digital construction in enterprises between standard software and customized development

Mr. Shi pointed out in his sharing that although this issue may seem simple at first glance, it is actually a core decision that every manufacturing enterprise cannot avoid when promoting digital transformation. Especially for specialized and innovative enterprises with unique technological processes and production organization methods, the correctness of the choice directly affects the effectiveness of system implementation and long-term operating costs.

Customized development can indeed highly fit the personalized processes of enterprises, but it also comes with risks such as long cycles, high costs, and low system maturity;

Although standard software is mature and stable, it often leads to a lack of adaptability when faced with complex and differentiated management models.

General opinion of Shi: There is no absolute "good choice", only a "suitable path"

Regarding the choice between "standard vs customized", Mr. Shi provided a very clear and practical judgment logic:

• When the core business processes of a company are highly unique, and this difference is where competitiveness lies - focusing on "customized development" to ensure that the system truly matches the company's "unique craftsmanship".

• When the overall management logic of the enterprise is in line with industry standards, and there are only personalized needs in some aspects - choosing "standard software+local customization" to achieve "high adaptability" with better cost-effectiveness.
